Eighteen adult women who earned a fully online master's degree at least one year ago from a university affiliated with the Southern Regional Education Board were interviewed. Analysis of the data indicates earning the degree resulted in greater-than-expected transformational change, personal development, and autonomy. (Contains 1 table.)
