Summary:The stabiliser system for the suspensions prepared from zeolite A and water comprises a) a water-insoluble nonionic surfactant, e.g. fatty alcohol polyglycol ether, and b) an anionic sulphonate surfactant, particularly sulphuric acid monoesters of primary C12-C18 alcohols or secondary C10-C20 alcohols in the form of the water-soluble salts or sulphated reaction products of the alcohols with 1-4 mol of ethylene oxide, sulphated fatty acid alkanolamides or sulphated fatty acid monoglycerides in the form of the water-soluble salts or mixtures thereof as stabilising aids in a weight ratio a):b) of from 5:1 to 1:5. Input amount: 0.5-5% by weight. Preferred as the component b) are C12-18 fatty alcohols which are obtainable from natural fats and which are readily biologically degradable, e.g. tallow alcohol sulphate, lauryl alcohol sulphate or coconut alcohol sulphate. The suspensions, which can be used to prepare washing and cleaning agents low in phosphates or free from phosphates, retain their low viscosity during storage and use at up to 80 DEG C, exhibiting impeccable flow behaviour and little sedimentation.
