Summary:Improvements in the method of segregating ores, in which the chlorinated products issuing from the segregation furnace are regenerated and the resulting chloridized products are recycled as reagents into the furnace, where in the gaseous ferric chloride present in the gases is decomposed by the oxygen or chlorine with or without water vapour, in order to produce HCl gas and wherein the CO is burned at the same time.
