Disclosed is a hair conditioning composition comprising by weight: (1) at least about 3 % of a high melting point compound having a melting point of at least about 25 DEG C; (2) an emulsifying agent selected from the group consisting of amines, betaines, nonionic compounds, and mixtures thereof; (3) a quaternary compound; and (4) an aqueous carrier; wherein the composition shows a DSC profile having substantially no peaks larger than about 3 mJ/mg from about 40 DEG C to about 65 DEG C. Cette invention se rapporte à une composition de tonifiants capillaires, qui renferme en poids: (1) au moins 3 % environ d'un composé à point de fusion élevé, dont le point de fusion est égal ou supérieur à 25 DEG C environ; (2) un agent émulsifiant choisi dans le groupe des amines, des bêtaïnes, des composés non ioniques et de mélanges de ceux-ci; (3) un composé quaternaire; et (4) un véhicule aqueux; cette composition présentant un profil de calorimétrie à balayage différentielle (DSC) n'ayant pratiquement pas de crêtes supérieures à environ 3 mJ/mg entre 40 DEG C environ et 65 DEG C environ.
