A movable transparent panel (1) for reconfigurable office partitions and the like is adapted for floor-to-ceiling applications which include a floor track (2) shaped to be supported on a floor surface (3), and a ceiling track (4) shaped to be supported on a ceiling surface (5). A panel frame (6) is supported in a normally vertical orientation between the floor track (2) and the ceiling track (4). The panel frame (6) has vertically spaced-apart upper and lower horizontal members (7, 8) with a pair of vertical side members (9, 10) interconnecting the upper and lower horizontal members (7, 8) and extending therebetween to define a generally quadrilateral opening (11). The upper horizontal member (7) is operably connected to the ceiling track (4), and the lower member (8) is removably connected to the frame (6) and extends across at least the portion of the opening (11). A vertically adjustable support (13, 14) retains the frame (6) at a selected height above the floor track (2) to permit height adjustment and leveling of the frame (6) to account for variations in the floor surface (3). L'invention concerne une paroi transparente mobile destinée aux cloisons de bureau reconfigurables ou à des articles similaires. La paroi est conçue pour des applications utilisant l'espace entre le plancher et le plafond. Le système comprend un rail au sol configuré pour reposer à la surface du sol et un rail au plafond configuré pour être fixé au plafond. Un cadre de paroi, normalement en position verticale, est soutenu par les rails de sol et de plafond. Le cadre de paroi possède des éléments horizontaux supérieur et inférieur à espacement vertical, qui sont munis d'une paire d'éléments latéraux verticaux assurant l'interconnexion entre les éléments horizontaux supérieur et inférieur et qui s'étendent entre ces derniers en définissant une ouverture de forme générale quadrilatérale. L'élément horizontal supérieur est relié de manière fonctionnelle au rail de plafond, l'élément horizontal inférieur étant relié de manière fonctionnelle au rail de plancher. Une feuille sensiblement transparente est reliée au cadre de façon amovible et recouvre au moins une partie de l'ouverture. Un support à réglage vertical retient le cadre à la hauteur voulue au-dessus du rail de plancher afin de permettre le réglage de la hauteur et du niveau du cadre qui tient compte des variations de la surface du sol.
