Summary:A process for producing a purified aryl vinyl sulfone solution, characterized by crystallizing an aryl vinyl sulfone from a crude organic solvent solution of the sulfone, removing the solution from the resultant mixture to obtain a wet aryl vinyl sulfone cake, and dissolving the cake in a solvent selected among C4-8 ethers, C6-10 aromatic hydrocarbons, C1-6 halogenated hydrocarbons, C3-8 ketones, C3-6 esters, and C2-6 nitriles. L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une solution purifiée de sulfone d'aryle-vinyle, qui consiste à cristalliser un sulfone d'aryle-vinyle à partir d'une solution dissolvante organique brute de sulfone, à enlever la solution du mélange résultant, de sorte qu'un gâteau humide de sulfone d'aryle-vinyle soit produit, et à dissoudre le gâteau dans un solvant choisi parmi les composés suivants: éthers C4-8, hydrocarbures aromatiques C6-10, hydrocarbures halogénés C1-6, cétones C3-8, esters C3-6 et nitriles C2-6.
