An inductor (22) connected to the capacitor (19) smooths out the discharge curve and produces a low current low frequency defibrillator pulse supplied to a patient's heart. The pulse is usually biphasic. L'invention concerne un défibrillateur (10) permettant d'appliquer un courant à faibles impulsions au coeur d'un patient. Ledit défibrillateur comprend un condensateur haute tension (19) permettant d'accumuler de l'énergie électrique. Une bobine d'inductance (22) connectée au condensateur (19) filtre la courbe de décharge et produit une impulsion de défibrillateur à faible tension et à faible fréquence appliquée au coeur d'un patient. L'impulsion est habituellement binaire.
