Summary:The filter element includes a filter medium and filter hardware. The filter and/or the filter hardware may be made of materials that can be easily disposed of, such as incinerable materials and/or materials that are easy to chop, shred or compact. The filter element may include one or more parts that facilitate standardization, such as a filter support having a number of modular segments and/or an end cap assembly having a number of end pieces. The filter element may also have an increased filtration capacity. L'élément filtrant de l'invention est constitué d'un milieu filtrant et d'une structure support. Le filtre et/ou la structure support peuvent être fait de matériaux facilement éliminables tels que des matériaux incinérables et/ou des matériaux faciles à déchiqueter broyer ou compacter. L'élément filtrant peut comporter une ou plusieurs pièces facilitant la standardisation, comme c'est le cas d'un porte-filtre fait de plusieurs segments modulaires et/ou d'un bouchon d'extrémité de filtre fait de plusieurs pièces d'extrémité.
