The candy contains xylitol a/n g, wherein a = daily dose of xylitol in grams and n is the number of candies intended to be eaten on one day. The invention also concerns a kit containing the aforementioned candies, whereby total xylitol amount in these said candies corresponds to the effective amount of xylitol required to treat and prevent caries. L'invention porte sur un bonbon de xylitol, de préférence dur, contenant du xylitol comme principal agent édulcorant et servant à traiter et prévenir les caries. Un tel bonbon contient a/n g de xylitol où a est la dose quotidienne de xylitol en grammes et n le nombre de bonbons à consommer par jour. L'invention porte également sur boîte contenant lesdits bonbons dont la quantité correspond à celle nécessaire pour traiter et prévenir les caries.
