Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur automatischen Bündelung von Blattgut, insbesondere Banknoten, mit einer Ablageeinrichtung (20), auf der das zu bündelnde Blattgut (10) passgerecht als Stapel abgelegt ist, einer Schiebeeinrichtung (21), die den Blattgutstapel senkrecht in Richtung einer von einer Einrichtung (30, 31, 32, 33) zugeführten Folie (40) bewegt, wobei der Stapel mit der Folie teilweise umlegt und einer Transporteinrichtung (50, 60) zugeführt wird. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich dadurch aus, dass die Transporteinrichtung zwei parallel zueinander angeordnete automatisch höhenverstellbare Förderbänder (50, 60) aufweist, zwischen denen der Stapel und die ihn teilweise umgebende Folie eingeklemmt zu einer Banderoliereinrichtung (34, 35) transportiert und der von den Förderbändern so positioniert wird, dass die Folie von der Banderoliereinrichtung um den Stapel geführt und zu einer Banderole verbunden wird, wodurch ein gebündelter Blattgutstapel erhalten wird.
