A method for sterilizing ibuprofen suspension preparations characterized by sterilizing suspensions containing ibuprofen by applying pressure thereto at a temperature lower than the melting point of ibuprofen; and effectively sterilized ibuprofen suspension preparations containing from 100 to 5,000 mg/100 ml of ibuprofen and from 1 to 150 mg/100 ml of antiseptics and having a pH value of from 2.0 to 5.0. L'invention concerne un procédé pour stériliser des préparations en suspension à base d'ibuprofène, caractérisé en ce que l'on stérilise les suspensions à base d'ibuprofène par application d'une pression, à une température inférieure au point de fusion de l'ibuprofène. L'invention concerne aussi des préparations en suspension à base d'ibuprofène dûment stérilisées, contenant entre 100 et 5 000 mg/100 ml d'ibuprofène et entre 1 et 150 mg/100 ml d'antiseptiques, avec une valeur de pH comprise entre 2,0 et 5,0.
