Summary:A polymer toner having a core-shell type structure wherein core particles comprising a compound having at least one > C = N<+> < structure inside the molecules thereof and coloring polymer particles containing a colorant are each coated with a polymer layer having a higher glass transition temperature than that of the polymer component constituting the core particles. The invention discloses further a method of production of the polymer toner, an image formation method using the polymer toner, and an image formation apparatus accommodating the polymer toner. L'invention concerne un toner polymère ayant une structure de type coeur/enveloppe, dans lequel les particules coeur, qui comprennent un composé contenant dans ses molécules au moins une structure C=N<+>, et les particules polymères colorantes contenant un colorant, sont enrobées d'une couche de polymère dont la température de transition vitreuse est plus élevée que celle du polymère constituant les particules coeur. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de produire ledit toner polymère, un procédé permettant de former des images au moyen dudit toner, ainsi qu'un dispositif imageur contenant ledit toner.
