The treatment results in regression of the tumours and the improvement persists for a considerable time after completion of the treatment. La présente invention concerne le traitement de patients atteints de tumeurs fortement vasculaires, et décrit un procédé de traitement pour les patients atteints du sarcome de Kaposi. Ledit procédé consiste à administrer au patient du sulfate de dextrine. Le traitement provoque une régression des tumeurs et cette amélioration de l'état de santé se poursuit bien après la fin du traitement.
