Summary:The present invention is directed to [ S]-N-[1(R)-[(1,2-dihydro-1-methanesulfonylspiro[3H-indole-3,4'-piperidin]-1'-yl)carbonyl]-2-(phenylmethyloxy)ethyl]-2-amino-2-methylpropanamide, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. This [ S] radioligand is useful in identifying and characterizing cellular receptors which play a role in the activity of growth hormone secretagogues. In addition, this [ S] radioligand is useful in assays which test compounds for growth hormone secretagogue activity. La présente invention se rapporte au composé [ S]-N-[1(R)-[(1,2-dihydro-1-méthanesulfonylspiro[3H-indole-3,4'-pipéridin]-1'-yl)carbonyl]-2-(phénylméthyloxy)éthyl]-2-amino-2-méthylpropanamide ainsi qu'aux sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ce composé. Ce radioligand [ S] sert à l'identification et à la caractérisation de récepteurs cellulaires qui jouent un rôle dans l'activité de sécrétagogues d'hormones de croissance. En outre, ce radioligand [ S] sert aux essais visant à déceler dans des composés une activité de sécrétagogue d'hormone de croissance.
