The present invention relates to a package, or a cap (10) for a package for containing viscous liquid products. The package or the cap comprises a venting means (20). Said venting means (20) allows passage of gases between the interior and the exterior of package when the pressure inside said package differs from the external ambient pressure. Said package or cap further comprises a means (30) which improves the drainage of the splashed product away from said venting means and back into said container. La présente invention se rapporte à un emballage ou à un couvercle (10) pour un emballage contenant des produits liquides visqueux. L'emballage ou le couvercle se compose d'un moyen de ventilation (20). Ledit moyen de ventilation (20) permet le passage des gaz entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur de l'emballage lorsque la pression à l'intérieur dudit emballage diffère de la pression ambiante extérieure. De plus, ledit emballage ou couvercle comprend un moyen (30) améliorant le drainage du produit projeté à l'opposé dudit moyen de ventilation de retour dans ledit conteneur.
