Summary:A polyester resin used as a binder for a toner which is excellent in offset resistance and low-temperature fixation, can keep electrostatic charge stability even under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions, has an excellent durability, and can provide clear images. It is produced by linking cross-linked low-molecular-weight polyester molecules at least part thereof through a dicarboxylic acid as a linking agent. On utilise une résine polyester comme liant pour toner, qui présente une excellente résistance en offset et une excellente fixation à basse température, qui peut garder stable la charge électrostatique même dans des conditions de température et d'humidité élevées, qui a une excellente durabilité et qui permet de fournir des images claires. Elle est produite en liant, au moins partiellement, des molécules réticulées de polyester à bas poids moléculaire, à l'aide d'un acide dicarboxylique utilisé comme agent de liaison.
