Summary:The present invention is a process for the recovery of normal alcohols, especially C1-C20 n-alcohols, preferably n-C4-C14 alcohols, most preferably n-C6-C11 alcohols from n-paraffins by means of pervaporation through a membrane. The alcohols/paraffin feed mixture may be that produced in the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis process wherein mixtures of CO and H2 are reacted to produce paraffin waxes and a minor but still valuable amount of alcohols. L'invention concerne un procédé de récupération d'alcools normaux, particulièrement des alcools-n C1-C20, de préférence des alcools n-C4-C14 et plus particulièrement encore des alcools n-C6-C11 à partir de paraffines-n au moyen d'évaporation à travers une membrane. Le mélange de charge alcools/paraffine peut être celui produit au moyen d'un procédé de synthèse de Fischer-Tropsch où on fait réagir des mélanges de CO et H2, de façon à obtenir des paraffines dures et une quantité mineure mais encore appréciable d'alcools.
