Summary:An environmentally compatible, non-phytotoxic anti-fungal composition is provided having an active ingredient which comprises a fatty acid metal salt having from 4 to 18 carbon atoms. The metal salt may be formed from metals including calcium, copper, magnesium, and zinc. Additional formulation enhancing agents, such as dispersants, wetting agents and gums, are typically included within the composition. The composition is advantageous in that it exhibits a residual fungicidal effect lasting up to 2 months. Une compostion antifongique, non phytotoxique et compatible avec l'environnement est décrite; elle comporte un ingrédient actif qui comprend un sel métallique d'acide gras ayant de 4 à 18 atomes de carbone. Le sel métallique peut être constitué à partir des métaux comme le calcium, le cuivre, le magnésium et le zinc. Des agents additionnels améliorant la formulation, tels que des dispersants, des agents mouillants et des gommes, sont incorporés typiquement dans la composition. L'avantage de la composition réside dans le fait qu'elle montre un effet résiduel fongicide pouvant durer jusqu'à deux mois.
