L'invention concerne un dispositif se présentant sous la forme d'un magasin pour l'amenée des plaques d'impression à un cylindre porte-plaque d'une machine d'imprimerie, notamment pour un échange automatique des plaques, ce dispositif comportant un système d'amenée des plaques. Ce système d'amenée (16) comprend plusieurs (deuxièmes) moyens de retenue (55) de la plaque d'impression (9) qui sont répartis et successivement actionnables.
