Summary:Novel imidazolidinone derivatives are described which inhibit the production of Tumor Necrosis Factor and are useful in the treatment of disease stated mediated or exacerbated by TNF production. The compounds of the present invention are also useful as inhibitors of PDE IV and are therefore useful in the treatment of disease states in need of mediation or inhibition thereof. L'invention se rapporte à de nouveaux dérivés d'imidazolidinone, qui ont le pouvoir d'inhiber la production du facteur de nécrose tumorale (FNT) et qui sont utiles pour traiter des maladies dont on a établi qu'elles sont déclenchées ou exacerbées par la production du facteur FNT. Ces composés servent également d'inhibiteurs de l'enzyme PDE IV et sont par conséquent utiles pour traiter des états pathologiques nécessitant un processus médiateur ou inhibiteur.
