This invention relates to a composite sheet for a reinforcing material consisting of a web containing reinforcing long fiber bundles and a single fiber-like thermoplastic polymer fiber. This sheet is characterized in that the thermoplastic polymer fiber comes between the long fibers constituting the web and is entangled and integrated with the latter. The composite sheet is produced by depositing or incorporating the thermoplastic polymer fiber onto or into the web in a single yarn form and by applying a fluid jet stream to it. Feuille composite pour un matériau de renfort consistant en une bande contenant des faisceaux de longues fibres de renfort et une fibre unique en polymère thermoplastique. Cette feuille se caractérise en ce que la fibre en polymère thermoplastique est située entre de longues fibres qui composent la bande et est enchevêtrée et intégrée dans cette dernière. On produit cette feuille composite en déposant sur la bande ou en incorporant dans celle-ci la fibre en polymère thermoplastique sous forme d'un fil unique et en lui appliquant un courant à jet de fluide.
