A plant tissue culture process is disclosed, which comprises culturing a plant tissue, plant organ, part of them or cultured cells thereof in a medium containing a culture filtrate and/or extract of photosynthetic procaryotic microorganisms. This process enables the plant tissue or cultured cells to grow effectively and promote the formation of an adventive embryo, the regeneration of an entire plant, and the production of useful substances which the plant yields. Cyanobacteria and photosynthetic bacteria are preferably used as the photosynthetic procaryotic microorganisms. Procédé de culture de tissus végétaux, consistant à cultiver un tissu végétal, un organe végétal, une partie de ces tissus ou de ces organes ou des cellules cultivées, dans un milieu contenant un filtrat de culture et/ou un extrait de micro-organismes procaryotiques photosynthétiques. Ce procédé permet la croissance des tissus végétaux ou des cellules cultivées et favorise la formation d'un embryon, la régénération d'une plante entière et la production de substances utiles produites par la plante. De préférence, on utilise des cyanobactéries et des bactéries photosynthétiques comme micro-organismes procaryotiques photosynthétiques.
