An input system for controlling the start of injection and the injection quantity for injection nozzles of an internal combustion engine provided with an electrovalve and a pump, in which the moment for the start of injection and the injection quantity are determined taking into account data specific to the engine and operation-dependent parameters. In order to determine the rotation speed and to ensure synchronization a pulse emitter can be used which produces rotation speed and synchronization pulses by means of a single pulse gear wheel, which pulses can be fed separately to the motor control system by means of an evaluation circuit. Precise determination of the start of injection and the injection quantity can be effected with simple means. Pour déterminer le nombre de tours et assurer la synchronisation un générateur d'impulsions peut être utilisé qui produit les impulsions de vitesse de rotation et de synchronisation à l'aide d'un seul pignon d'impulsions, ces impulsions étant envoyées séparément au système de commande du moteur au moyen d'un circuit d'évaluation. Le début de l'injection et la quantité injectée peuvent être déterminés de manière précise à l'aide de moyens simples.
