Un procédé et un dispositif sont utilisés pour former par électrophotographie une épreuve d'impression en utilisant au moins deux sélections de couleurs, en formant deux images en toner de couleurs différentes en raccord l'une avec l'autre, en chargeant les revêtement jusqu'à des états définitifs identiques et en commençant le développement au toner après des périodes identiques.
