New compounds of general formula (I), wherein R stands for hydrogen, C1-8 straight or branched chained alkyl, C1-4 haloalkyl, C1-4 alkoxy-C1-2 alkyl, R stands for 2,3-dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-benzofuran-7-yl, 4-methyl-coumarin-7-yl, 2,2,4-trimethyl-(2H)-chromen-5-yl- or 2,2,4-trimethyl-(2H)-chromen-7-yl and Me stands for a monovalent cation. The new compounds show plant growth regulating activity and can be used as active ingredient of plant growth regulators. Nouveaux composés de formule générale (I), où R représente hydrogène, alkyle à chaîne droite ou ramifiée comportant de 1 à 8 C, haloalkyle comportant de 1 à 4C, alkoxy comportant de 1 à 4 C - alkyle comportant de 1 à 2 C, R1 représente 2,3-dihydro-2,2-diméthyl-benzofuran- 7-yle, 4-méthyl-coumarin-7-yl, 2,2,4-triméthyl-(2H)-chromen-5-yle ou 2,2,4-triméthyl-(2H)-chromen-7-yle et Me représente un cation monovalent. Ces nouveaux composés présentent une activité de régulation de la croissance des plantes et peuvent être utilisés en tant qu'ingrédients actifs d'agents de régulation de la croissance des plantes.
