The subject-matter of the present disclosure relates to a personal grooming device (100). The device comprises a cutter (102) and a cutter-guard (106) comprising a second plurality of teeth (114). The cutter and cutter-guard are configured to, in combination, provide a cutting action via motion of the cutter with respect to the second plurality of teeth. The device also comprises a skin touching guard (108) comprising a third plurality of teeth (162) configured to receive the second plurality of teeth with tip portions (172) arranged to align with tips (190) of the second plurality of teeth. The device also comprises a biasing member (176) configured to bias the tips of the second plurality of teeth to abut the tip portions of the third plurality of teeth.
