Summary:An electric stimulation system and method for spinal cord injury, the system comprising: hydrogel electrodes (100), a data collector (200), a controller (300) and an electric stimulator (400). The hydrogel electrodes (100) comprise a first hydrogel electrode (110) attached to the upper cross section at a spinal cord fracture of a target subject and a second hydrogel electrode (120) attached to the lower cross section corresponding to the upper cross section. The hydrogel electrodes (100) are used for collecting electrophysiological signals of the nervous tract at the spinal cord fracture of the target subject. The data collector (200) is used for receiving the electrophysiological signals from the hydrogel electrodes (100) and converting same into corresponding electrophysiological digital signals. The controller (300) is used for performing data processing on the electrophysiological digital signals separately to obtain corresponding electric stimulation signals. The electric stimulator (400) is used for, on
