Summary:A composition comprises (A) an unsaturated compound including at least one aliphatically unsaturated group per molecule, subject to at least one of the following two provisos: (1) the unsaturated compound (A) also includes at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom per molecule; and/or (2) the composition further comprises (B) a silicon hydride compound including at least one silicon-bonded hydrogen atom per molecule. The composition further comprises a catalyst (C). The catalyst (C) has the formula X2Pt(II)Y2, where each X is the same and is selected from a fluorinated acetate group or a halide, and each Y is independently selected from a substituted or unsubstituted pyridine group, with the proviso that each Y is not linked to the other Y when substituted. La composition comprend en outre un catalyseur (C). Le catalyseur (C) a la formule X2Pt(II)Y2, où chaque X est identique et est choisi parmi un groupe acétate fluoré ou un halogénure, et chaque Y est indépendamment choisi parmi un groupe pyridine substitué ou non substitué, à condition que chaque Y n'est pas lié à l'autre Y lorsqu'il est substitué.
