This RF energy generator for outputting RF energy to an electrode apparatus for blocking or controlling a nerve inside the body comprises: a reception unit for receiving temperature data about a vessel inside the body from the electrode apparatus; a control unit for calculating a temperature value of the vessel inside the body on the basis of the received temperature data, calculating a temperature variation of the vessel inside the body on the basis of the calculated temperature value of the vessel inside the body, and determining the strength of the RF energy through a PID control based on the temperature variation of the vessel; and an output unit for outputting the RF energy to the electrode apparatus on the basis of the determined strength of the RF energy.
