L'invention concerne un module de calcul, un système et un procédé mis en oeuvre par ordinateur pour déterminer une identité d'un individu. Le module de calcul est conçu pour obtenir un signal représentant des vibrations produites par des battements cardiaques d'un coeur de l'individu, pour déterminer un segment représentatif du signal et pour comparer le segment représentatif à une pluralité de segments de modèle pour déterminer l'identité de l'individu, les segments de modèle étant associés respectivement à des identités de modèle.
