Crospovidone having an average particle size of less than 10 µm is used as opacifier and white pigment in a coating of a coated tablet for replacement of titanium dioxide. Une composition de revêtement utile pour revêtir des comprimés, tels que des comprimés, des caplets, des pilules, des capsules, des confiseries ou des grains comprimés comprend une quantité opacifiante de crospovidone ayant une taille moyenne de particule inférieure à 10 µm. La crospovidone ayant une taille de particule moyenne inférieure à 10 µm est utilisée comme opacifiant et pigment blanc dans un revêtement d'un comprimé enrobé pour le remplacement du dioxyde de titane.
