The present inventors have found that administering a 5-HT1A/1B receptor agonist to a subject can treat, prevent, or manage the BIND, psychiatric disorders associated with jaundice, and psychiatric disorders caused by UGT1A1 gene mutations of the subject. Therefore, the present disclosure provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating, preventing, or managing BIND, psychiatric disorders associated with jaundice, and psychiatric disorders caused by UGT1A1 gene mutations, the pharmaceutical composition containing a 5-HT1A/1B receptor agonist.
