The trap may remove an impurity from the reactant stream. The MOx catalyst includes a BET surface area of at least about 50 m2/gram. L'invention concerne des procédés de traitement d'un flux de réactif comprenant une composition de catalyseur comportant un catalyseur d'oxyde métallique (MOx) ayant une surface avec un site M-0 du type de Lewis et d'intensité de base acide équilibrée et une zone de surface élevée et un piège. Le piège peut éliminer une impureté du flux de réactif. Le catalyseur MOx comprend une surface BET d'au moins environ 50 m2/gramme.
