A video processing device according to one embodiment of the present invention has: an extraction unit that extracts the position of joints of a first person indicated by time-series images relating to the first person and the position of joints of a second person indicated by time-series images relating to the second person, calculates angles of the extracted joints, and extracts, on the basis of the relationship between angles calculated for the time-series images relating to the first person and angles calculated for the time-series images relating to the second person, an element in the body of either one of the first and second persons which is regarded as important in terms of the motion of the one person; and an inference unit that infers, on the basis of the element extracted by the extraction unit and definition information on the status of the element extracted by the extraction unit, the status of the extracted element for the first person in time series and the status of the extracted element for the second person in time series.
