L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'un catalyseur supporté comprenant un électrocatalyseur sur un support de carbone fonctionnalisé à l'azote. Le procédé comprend la fourniture d'un électrocatalyseur sur un support de carbone ; puis l'incorporation d'azote dans le support de carbone pour fournir le catalyseur supporté. L'azote peut être incorporé par exposition de l'électrocatalyseur à de l'azote gazeux.
