The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a pigment composition that has exceptional dispersibility (affinity) when mixed with an aqueous solvent and that can also be utilized in cosmetic applications; and a production method therefor.　Specifically provided are: a pigment composition characterized by containing a pigment (A) and a sulfosuccinic acid compound (B); a cosmetic containing said pigment composition; and a production method for the pigment composition, the production method having a step for mixing the pigment (A), the sulfosuccinic acid compound (B), and an aqueous solvent and agitating and dispersing the obtained aqueous mixed solution and a step for using a wet type disperser to grind the agitated aqueous mixed solution. La présente invention aborde le problème de la fourniture : d'une composition de pigment qui présente une dispersibilité exceptionnelle (affinité) lorsqu'elle est mélangée avec un solvant aqueux et qui peut également être utilisée dans des applications cosmétiques ; et de son procédé de production.　L'invention concerne spécifiquement : une composition de pigment caractérisée en ce qu'elle contient un pigment (A) et un composé d'acide sulfosuccinique (B) ; un produit cosmétique contenant ladite composition de pigment ; et un procédé de production de la composition de pigment, le procédé de production comportant une étape de mélange du pigment (A), du composé d'acide sulfosuccinique (B) et d'un solvant aqueux et d'agitation et dispersion de la solution mélangée aqueuse obtenue et une étape d'utilisation d'un disperseur de type humide pour broyer la solution mélangée aqueuse agitée. 本発明は、水系溶媒と混合した際に優れた分散性（親和性）を有し、化粧料用途にも利用可能な顔料組成物、及びその製造方法の提供を課題とする。　具体的には、顔料（Ａ）及びスルホコハク酸化合物（Ｂ）を含有することを特徴とする顔料組成物；前記顔料組成物を含有する化粧料；顔料（Ａ）、スルホコハク酸化合物（Ｂ）及び水系溶媒を混合し、得られた水系混合液を攪拌して分散する工程、及び、攪拌した前記水系混合液を湿式分散機を用いて解砕する工程を有する、顔料組成物の製造方法である。
