The welding system includes a controller to regulate activation and regulation of the laser power based on user inputs, sensor inputs, and/or synergic control of a laser power source. L'invention concerne des systèmes et des procédés de soudage laser. Un système de soudage laser comprend un chalumeau de soudage laser actionné manuellement pour diriger une puissance laser vers une pièce à usiner afin de générer un bain de fusion pendant une opération de soudage laser. Le système de soudage comprend un dispositif de commande destiné à réguler l'activation et la régulation de la puissance laser sur la base d'entrées d'utilisateur, d'entrées de capteur et/ou d'une commande synergique d'une source de puissance laser.
