Summary:The present invention relates to a composition comprising a combination of peptides which target the interactions between Galectins and CaV1.2 channel. Particularly, the composition as disclosed modulates the Galectin-1-CaV1.2 channel and the Galectin-3-CaV1.2 channel interactions, respectively, and are suitable for use in the treatment of cardiovascular 5 diseases. La présente invention concerne une composition comprenant une combinaison de peptides qui ciblent les interactions entre les galectines et le canal CaV1.2. En particulier, la composition telle que divulguée module les interactions galectine-1-canal CaV1.2 et galectine-3-canal CaV1.2, respectivement, et sont appropriées pour être utilisée dans le traitement de maladies cardiovasculaires. L'invention concerne en outre des méthodes de traitement de maladies cardiovasculaires, telles que l'hypertension, la myopathie cardiaque et l'insuffisance cardiaque.
