Summary: | Disclosed in the present invention is a plated GPa-grade steel having excellent spot weldability, comprising a steel substrate and a zinc-containing plating layer on the surface of the steel substrate. The steel substrate contains Fe and inevitable impurity elements, and the steel substrate further contains the following chemical elements in percentage by mass: C: 0.18-0.22%; Si: 0.80-1.20%; Mn: 1.50-2.50%; Cr: 2.00-4.00%; and Al: 0.40-0.90%. Accordingly, further disclosed in the present invention is a manufacturing method for the plated GPa-grade steel having excellent spot weldability, and the manufacturing method can be used for effectively preparing the described plated GPa-grade steel having excellent spot weldability of the present invention. When the spot welding process is used for welding, if a solder joint surface crack is generated, the maximum length of the solder joint surface crack is less than 5% of the thickness of a plate.
