Summary: | Provided is an engineering microorganism, which has a gene capable of programming an autonomous lysis behavior of a microorganism and a gene for expressing a target protein. When a gene line capable of programming the autonomous lysis behavior or secretion behavior of the microorganism is opened, the engineering microorganism can autonomously lyse at a high density to release or secrete the target protein. Provided is a microbial capsule obtained by means of wrapping the engineering microorganism by using a cross-linking system. Further provided is a method for preparing an engineered functional material by using the engineering microorganism or a microbial capsule thereof.
