A biorenewable feed that is concentrated in free fatty acids is produced by hydrodeoxygenating a biorenewable feedstock is produced by use of a Group VIII catalyst producing a 10-13 carbon atom product having a high level of linearity. Normal paraffins in the range desired by the detergents industry can be produced. Either isomerization or an iso-normal separation can be performed to provide green fuel streams. La présente invention concerne la production d'une matière première biorenouvelable concentrée en acides gras libres par hydrodésoxygénation d'une matière première biorenouvelable à l'aide d'un catalyseur du groupe VIII, ce qui permet d'obtenir un produit comportant de 10 à 13 atomes de carbone et présentant un haut niveau de linéarité. Il est possible de produire des paraffines normales dans la gamme souhaitée par l'industrie des détergents. Une isomérisation ou une séparation iso-normale peut être effectuée pour fournir des flux de combustibles respectueux de l'environnement.
