A latex formulation having an additive comprising manganese based compound, wherein the manganese in the additive is with valency of +2 or +7, wherein the additive having the manganese with valency +2 is used in an amount ranging between 0.005 phr to 30.0 phr; and wherein the additive having the manganese with valency +7 is used in an amount ranging between 0.25 phr to 10.0 phr. A latex formulation having an additive comprising manganese based compound, wetting agent, dispersing agent, thickener and water. Formulation de latex contenant un additif comprenant un composé à base de manganèse, le manganèse contenu dans l'additif présentant une valence de +2 ou +7, l'additif renfermant le manganèse de valence +2 étant utilisé en une quantité comprise entre 0,005 phr et 30,0 phr; et l'additif renfermant le manganèse de valence +7 étant utilisé dans une quantité comprise entre 0,25 phr et 10,0 phr. L'invention concerne également une formulation de latex contenant un additif comprenant un composé à base de manganèse, un agent mouillant, un agent dispersant, un épaississant et de l'eau.
