The light source device is provided in a modeling device that has a container housing a photocurable liquid resin and applies light to the photocurable liquid resin from outside the container. The light source device comprises: a base located on the light application surface side of the container where light is applied; a light-emitting part having at least one light-emitting element, the light-emitting part being located on the base; and a covering member that covers the light-emitting part and has a light-transmitting part that forms a closed space in cooperation with the base, at least part of the light-transmitting part being in contact with the light application surface, a cylindrical side wall part that extends outward from the light-transmitting part, and a connecting part that connects the peripheral edge of the light-transmitting part and the end of the side wall part. The light source device is movable in a direction along the light application surface with at least part of the light-transmitting part in contact with the light application surface.
