Summary:Disclosed are an LCP resin, a preparation method therefor, and an LCP fiber. The LCP resin comprises repeating units derived from the following monomers: (A) p-hydroxybenzoic acid, (B) 2-hydroxy-6-naphthoic acid, and (C) a characteristic monomer, wherein the (C) characteristic monomer is any one or more of trimesic acid or pyromellitic acid, a tensile strain rate γ1 when a melt of the LCP resin at a temperature Tm+20°C starts to exhibit a tensile hardening behavior satisfies 1.2s-1≤γ1≤3s-1, a tensile strain rate γ2 when the tensile hardening behavior ends satisfies 5s-1≤γ2≤20s-1, and Tm is the melting point of the LCP resin.
