This network node comprises: a reception unit that receives, when communication with a satellite is enabled, a service request including information for identifying the satellite and information indicating a data storage capacity of the satellite, from a base station; and a control unit that determines, on the basis of the data storage capacity of the satellite and the amount of arrival data to be transmitted to terminals existing in a region through which the satellite passes, whether the arrival data can be transmitted to the satellite.
