Aspects of the invention directed to a method of a Disorder of Consciousness (DOC) rehabilitation are disclosed. The method comprises (a) providing a patient, a first audio stimulation during a first predetermined duration; (b) at the end of the first audio stimulation, providing the patient instruction to move facial or eye muscles in order to replay the audio stimulation; and (c) replaying the first audio stimulation if a signal indicative of a voluntary response of the facial or eye muscles is received. Des aspects de l'invention divulguent un procédé de rééducation des troubles de la conscience (DOC). Le procédé consiste en (a) la fourniture à un un patient, d'une première stimulation audio pendant une première durée prédéterminée ; (b) à la fin de la première stimulation audio, la fourniture de l'instruction au patient de bouger ses muscles faciaux ou oculaires afin de relire la stimulation audio ; et (c) la relecture de la première stimulation audio si un signal indiquant une réponse volontaire des muscles faciaux ou oculaires est reçu.
