Summary: | Provided is a mutant respiratory syncytial virus pre-fusion F protein, having the following mutations compared with a wild-type respiratory syncytial virus pre-fusion F protein: (a) at least one amino acid residue in an F1 subunit and/or an F2 subunit is substituted by cysteine, and (b) amino acid residues at positions 104-144 of the wild-type respiratory syncytial virus pre-fusion F protein are partially or completely substituted by a linker peptide, at least two lengths of the amino acid residues of the linker peptide being comprised. Compared with similar products, the mutant respiratory syncytial virus pre-fusion F protein has excellent neutralizing antibody binding activity and thermal stability, and is suitable for being developed into one of components of respiratory syncytial virus vaccines.
