Various embodiments of the present invention relate to an apparatus and a method for performing wireless communication in an electronic device. The electronic device may comprise a communication circuit and a processor, wherein the processor: establishes a plurality of communication paths of different wireless communication methods through the communication circuit; identifies whether to transmit a duplicated packet on the basis of at least one of the type of a packet transmitted to a network through the plurality of communication paths and the communication quality of each of the plurality of communication paths; and transmits the duplicated packet through the plurality of communication paths on the basis of determination to transmit the duplicated packet. Other embodiments may also be possible.
