Summary:The present application discloses a data backup method. The method comprises the following steps: respectively acquiring load information of auxiliary controllers; according to the load information, allocating auxiliary logical sub-volumes obtained by pre-division to the auxiliary controllers to obtain auxiliary sub-volume configuration information; synchronizing the auxiliary sub-volume configuration information to a main end, so that the main end transmits data to be backed up to the corresponding auxiliary controllers according to the auxiliary sub-volume configuration information; and the auxiliary controllers respectively processing said received data so as to complete data backup at an auxiliary end.
