Summary:The present disclosure provides microporous hollow fiber webs, including connected hollow fibers. At least some of the hollow fibers have an open celled porous structure including microfibrils that connect lamellae microstructures. Methods of making microporous hollow fiber webs are also provided. Such methods include obtaining a hollow fiber web having connected hollow fibers, and stretching the hollow fiber web in a machine direction to fracture at least a portion of the hollow fibers to generate an open celled porous structure. La présente divulgation concerne des bandes de fibres creuses microporeuses, comprenant des fibres creuses reliées. Au moins certaines des fibres creuses présentent une structure poreuse à cellules ouvertes comprenant des microfibrilles qui relient des microstructures de lamelles. La présente divulgation concerne également des procédés de fabrication de bandes de fibres creuses microporeuses. De tels procédés comprennent l'obtention d'une bande de fibres creuses comprenant des fibres creuses reliées, et l'étirement de la bande de fibres creuses dans le sens machine pour fracturer au moins une partie des fibres creuses afin de produire une structure poreuse à cellules ouvertes.
